Founded by Blessed Fr. Michael J. McGivney, the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council was chartered March 29, 1882 in New Haven, Connecticut. The Knights of Columbus, one of the nation's oldest fraternal orders, offers many programs for its members and their families (http://www.kofc.org/un/en/members/for-councils/index.html). The Knights of Columbus insurance program offers security for surviving loved ones and can also build equity for retirement years (http://www.kofc.org/un/en/insurance/index.html). Knights of Columbus is a worldwide organization with over two million members.
Membership: all Catholic men, 18 years or older, who practice their faith may apply at any time; can begin online. Transfer into our Council from another Council can be granted at any time.
The St. John Council was chartered as Council 3738 on November 15, 1953. Our members include Catholic gentlemen from parishes of Holy Trinity, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, and others in the surrounding communities. Knights are committed to Church and community involvement, especially the intellectually disabled.
Council Membership: We have over 200 members. Annual Dues are $50.00. Regular Meetings: The 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7:30 PM in the Council Hall, 25 N. Cass Avenue.

provided on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Elk's Lodge in Elmhurst. There is a separate team for each week of the month. Time commitment = 3-5 hours one Sunday per month. Contact = Hank Anzelone.

occurs at the Hall and its court yard on Thursdays during the Summer as part of the Village of Westmont's observance. There are two to three teams, only one serving at a time. Time commitment = 4 hours. Contact = Rick Vath.
are sold in the fall as part of the Illinois Knights of Columbus fundraising to support the education of clergy. A portion of each council's sales is rebated back. Time commitment = variable; this activity is spread over time. Contact = Jim Anzelone.

Poker is provided quarterly for one evening at nearby locations. One session has two people who are required to be present only. Time commitment = 4 hours. Contact = Dave Ortman.
